Learn how PicklePlay Club Rating, match verification, and rating-history support work together.
Each participating club has its own internal player rating. The configured initial rating and eligible match types follow that club's competition policy. Ratings change after eligible verified results.
Ratings from different clubs are not directly comparable and are not official DUPR or national ratings.
Tournament, league, ladder, community, and staff-recorded Open Play results can contribute when the appropriate club settings allow. Pending or disputed community scores do not become confirmed results.
Only an eligible completed match can generate an internal rating-history record.
The Player Passport labels how strongly actual rated-match history supports a rating: Provisional, Developing, Supported, or Well supported.
This is an internal history-support indicator, not DUPR's Reliability Score and not a guarantee of accuracy.
Transparent internal rules, distinct from DUPR's proprietary system.
Expected win probability comes from both sides' current club ratings.
Each club controls its initial rating, adjustment factor, and eligible match types.
New rating entries retain source type, before/after values, and date.
Player leaderboard ranks eligible players only within one selected club. Club Activity ranks clubs by active rated participation, not by mixing player ratings across venues.
Rankings are visible to signed-in members, and private/friends-only player profiles are excluded. There are no fabricated age- or gender-based categories.
